This website was born from that feeling: the desire to protect, document, and share the culture, history, and traditions of Iwziwn and the surrounding Amazigh (Berber) regions

Welcome to Iwziwn, a cultural and educational initiative created by a group of passionate students and friends from the High Atlas Mountains. We grew up in this land, surrounded by its rivers, olive trees, and traditions, and we feel a deep responsibility to share its beauty with the world.
Our mission is to preserve and promote Amazigh (Berber) heritage, while making it accessible to readers everywhere. Through carefully researched articles, we explore topics such as:
•The history and traditions of Iwziwn and the surrounding regions
•The richness of Amazigh language and culture
•Moroccan art, music, textiles, and crafts
•Nature, agriculture, and the unique landscapes of the Atlas Mountains
We believe that every stone, every tree, and every melody carries a story worth telling. By documenting these stories, we hope to inspire pride among locals and curiosity among visitors and researchers.

Who Are We
We are a group of people — students, researchers, and children of this land — who carry a deep love toward our village, Iwziwn (إوزيون). Growing up surrounded by its mountains, olive trees, and timeless traditions.

Iwziwn is located at a crossroads, between the High Atlas and Anti-Atlas Mountains, and between Aoulouz and Tifnout. This unique geography has given the town a special identity .
